Fall Season is Flag Football for all Grade Levels. K thru 6th Grade. 

Uniform Requirements

uniforms are not included in the registration fee. Coaches will order uniforms and be refunded by parents. 

What are the age divisions for Flag Football and 7v7 Leagues?  

The divisions are for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. Athletes can play in the division that their grade for the current school year reflects. Athletes can play up a grade level, but cannot play down. Pre K athletes cannot play up, unless approved by Commissioner.

How are teams formed?

Many of our teams are formed from coaches who bring in their own teams.  We also create teams from our Rookie or Free Agent list. Rookies are athletes registered for the first time. Free Agents are players from former teams who may have not returned for a Season.

Is this a recreational or select league?

Our league is an open/recreational league. We have teams that play every season and/or join from other leagues around the area. 

Can my athlete play on an existing team? 

If you are new to our league and do not have a specific team request, then you will be placed on a new team. The team will only make when we find a volunteer coach and have enough players signed up to participate. If an existing team needs players, then athletes will be placed based on time of registration. If a team does not make, then athletes will be refunded.

What are the coaching requirements?

All coaches are volunteers and go through a background check each year. We hold a mandatory coaches meeting before the Season to assist them. We require that coaches are flexible with scheduling and create a positive learning environment.

What is the difference between FALL LEAGUE and SPRING LEAGUE?

Flag in the Fall is for Kindergarten through 6th grade. In each division, it is a 7 v. 7 run and pass football game.  For the Spring, K through 2nd Grade will continue to play Flag 7 v. 7 and 3rd through 6th Grade will play 7 on 7, Pass Only. It is a shorter field and we follow the UIL Pass only Rules. Rules can be found on the DOWNLOADS Tab on the home page.

Are teams outside of McKinney able to join this league?

We invite any team from the surrounding North Texas Cities. We want to create positive competitive league here in North Texas.
