Registration

K-2nd Flag Football and 3rd - 6th 7v7 - Spring 2026

• Registration:  $110 for City of McKinney, $125 for Non Resident, City of Melissa Residents need to register on Melissa Sports Connection Website
• Eligible Grades: Registered for grade as of 25 - 26 school year. We do not offer Pre K division.
• Length of Season:  A minimum of 7 games + End of Season single elimination tournament based on standings. All regular season games are on Monday nights at Craig Ranch in McKinney. Games will start on March 23th.
• Refunds: There will be no refunds after the first regular season game. Refund requests are subject to a $25 fee. All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to: mckinneysportsconnection@gmail.com.
• Practice:  Will be determined at the discretion of the head coach. Players cannot change teams due to scheduling conflicts.
• Uniforms & Equipment:  Uniforms and equipment are NOT included in the registration fee.  Ordering information will be determined and handled by the head coach. Parents will need to reimburse the coach for order of individual uniform.
• Coaches: New and returning coaches must click “Volunteer” to register as a coach. All coaches must submit the background check to coach in our league. Background checks are good for one calendar year.
• FREE AGENTS: Athletes who are new to the league will be placed on teams who need players or new teams will be formed if we have coaches sign up to volunteer.

Fall 2026 Tackle Cheerleading - Fall 2026

Tackle cheer registration is now open!

NEW FAMILIES: New Family Info Meeting & Q&A – April 4th at 10 AM
Sign up via the Interest Links in the Cheerleading tab to receive the Zoom link before enrolling.

• Kinder & 1st graders will be moved to Flag cheer, early registration is open
• We are currently looking for leaders just like you to step up and be our squad coach! Cheers, videos, practice plans are all included. Must pass a background check to qualify
• Registration fee $250: includes uniform, briefs, poms, bows, pom tags, cheer bucket (if applicable). Additional $50 may be requested by coach for squad accessories
• Games are every Saturday starting late August- Schedules will not be ready until August
• Games will be held in middle/high school stadiums across North Texas area- stadium fees do apply, please see stadium locations under Cheerleading tab > Resources>Stadium sites
• Must attend our mandatory uniform fitting in May
• No refunds after May 5th, $25 admin fee will apply
• Tackle will host 2nd-6th graders; 2nd graders can register under flag cheer - please see Flag cheer section to register

Flag Cheer 2026 - Fall 2026

• Registration fee includes uniform shell & skirt, breifs, a set of poms, a team bow and cheer bucket
• Games are every Saturday starting Sept
• Games are held in a local Mckinney park, every week
• No refunds after June 30th, $25 admin fee will apply
